Is Grymo free?
Yes — the essentials are free and need no card. A few advanced features come with the paid plans.
Is my financial data private?
Your data lives in its own isolated space that only you can read, enforced by the database itself rather than by the app. Every change is recorded, and anything you delete is removed for good within a few days.
Do I have to connect my bank?
No. You add accounts and enter transactions yourself, so nothing depends on handing over a bank login. Automatic bank import is on the roadmap, not a requirement.
Does Grymo sync across my devices?
Yes. Sign in on another device and your accounts, budgets and goals are already there.
Can I organise spending my own way?
Yes — build your own categories and subcategories, and tag any transaction by who or what it was for.
Can I track accounts in different currencies?
Yes. Hold accounts in any currency and Grymo combines them into one net worth. For a transfer between currencies you enter both the amount sent and the amount received, so the real rate is recorded rather than guessed.
